This lapis lazuli pendant in the shape of a beetle is suspended using the ancient jewellery-making technique of wire wrapping.

Orhan Veli was a Turkish poet of the early-mid 20th Century who transformed lyrical writing in his local language. His poem Böcekler speaks with pining directness to the nature of love: Don’t think / Just desire / Look, that’s what insects do too.
