Based on an original relic cross that Olivia, our founder, sourced at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, the Vittore Pendant is an equal sided silver cross which broadens at the outer tips. The bail is formed from a hand-carved mould that she created in her studio.
An exemplar of powerful symbolism which has pollinated across cultures and times, the Vittore cross pendant is named for the painter Vittore Carpaccio. His 1505 painting has Christ in the foreground and a depiction of Poliphilo’s dreamscape in the rear. Like Cleopatra’s Bling with our signature melding of time, space and symbolic references, the painting appears built on the otherworldly logic of a dream.

We use 925 Sterling Silver, a high-quality material made of 92.5% pure silver, and alloy for added durability. As a non-plated material, it will not experience wearing.
Tarnishing is a natural process for Sterling Silver, often caused by contact with air, water, and cosmetics. It can be worn in water (except in places containing natural minerals such as sulfur or chemicals such as chlorine) provided that it is thoroughly dried immediately afterwards.
If care instructions are followed it will be kept in its best condition.
Sterling silver jewellery can oxidise and tarnish if not stored properly. We recommend keeping your jewellery away from direct sunlight which warms the air and can accelerate the chemical process of tarnishing. Most importantly it must be kept dry during storage. Humidity is a tarnish-accelerant.
The best way to keep your Sterling Silver jewellery in as-new condition is by wearing it often. If tarnishing does occur, simply clean your pieces with a small amount of silver polish and a soft polishing cloth. For a deeper clean, you can use a silver cleaner solution and gently buff with a silver polishing cloth.
To avoid scratches do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes. Ultrasonic cleaners are a safe alternative for a thorough cleaning.
Bespoke is waiting for you. Tell us what you love and we’ll handcraft a special one of a kind piece.
