The noble image of a regent is at the centre of this ancient coin, sourced by Olivia in the bazaars of Istanbul. Tsavorite garnets and deep blue sapphires are embedded in its solid gold surface, blending the emotional openness of green & blue gems with the luxury of precious metal.
Handcrafted and individually cast. Olivia carves each piece from wax, so please allow a 4-6 week turn-around time for made-to-order items. Set by expert stone setters, each stone is ethically sourced, natural and traceable. Each pendant comes with an 18K gold-plated chain. What to know about Solid Gold jewellery ?
Solid Gold is prized for its natural resistance to tarnishing, making it perfect for everyday wear, even in water. However, the lower the karat, the more prone it is to tarnishing and damage. For example, 9K gold is a more affordable option but can be more brittle and susceptible to issues than 18k gold.
Gold is a soft metal, so it's important to be mindful of bending or scratching your pieces. We recommend removing your jewellery during activities that could cause damage.
How to store Solid Gold jewellery ?
Store your pieces in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. We recommend using a jewellery box or pouch to prevent accidental scratches.
How to clean Solid Gold jewellery ?
Clean Solid Gold jewellery by soaking it briefly in lukewarm water with a small amount of baking soda and dish soap. After soaking, rinse the jewellery and use a soft toothbrush to remove any residue. Dry it with a polishing cloth to restore its shine.
Limit cleaning to a maximum of two times per year to preserve the integrity of the gold.
