The Hippolyta Pendant is carved malachite, below which five green tsavorite garnets are suspended. The pendant is moulded from 18K solid yellow gold.
Hippolyta was an Amazon warrior queen, the daughter of the God Ares. To retrieve her famous girdle was the ninth labour of Hercules - that it would challenge even the mighty Hercules is a testament to the fearsome power of this great ruler. Her name is derived from the root word for horse in Ancient Greek, and therefore she is often depicted alongside horses and chariots. Hippolyta is a symbol of feminine power and grace under fire.
The Hippolyta Pendant is a one-off piece, available immediately. This style can be recreated with different relic stones at the centre, with a lead time of 8 weeks.
Each stone is individually engraved by hand by artisans which means that every piece is truly one of a kind. These unique relics are then hand chosen and individually cast into 18K solid gold. If you wish to see alternative relic stones we have available for custom made designs, please contact us. Each pendant comes with an 18K gold-plated chain.
