Round wooden bead necklace with lapis lazuli cylinder seal at throat. The clasp is specially designed to mirror the shape and engraving of the cylinder seal, and can be adjusted by moving the chain through its centre.
Representing vision, the Nabu Necklace is named for the scribe of the Gods, and patron of prophecy and writing. This latter art was invented by the Sumerian Mesopotamians themselves and used in the cylinder seals: another intrinsic invention of their civilisation. Beads are fashioned from the strong, valuable wood of the Chinese yew tree.

Our gems are ethically sourced and almost exclusively natural, traced back to their origin through long-term relationships with certified suppliers. Our 18k Gold-Plated jewelry is coated with 1.5 microns of rich, 18k gold. While 18k gold plating is beautiful and, thanks to the skill of our artisans, relatively durable, it is in the nature of any plated object that it will naturally wear over time.
The better care is provided your 18k Gold-Plated jewelry, the longer the period it will retain its excellent condition.
Items that have experienced wearing can often be replated for a small fee. Contact us for more information.
How to store 18k Gold-Plated jewelry
To protect your 18k Gold-Plated jewelry, store it in a completely dry place, away from direct sunlight. For added protection, store it in an anti-tarnish pouch or case.
How to clean 18k Gold-Plated jewelry
