The Gorgoneion Seal Ring pays homage to this preoccupation through the play on vintage French hallmarking techniques used on the ring’s amulet face. The gorgoneion is one of the evergreen symbols of the brand. Appearing in collections since 2016, this piece is part of a celebratory series revisiting and reworking the most classic designs and themes of Cleopatra’s Bling jewellery.

We exclusively use recycled Sterling Silver, and the vast majority of our gold is recycled. Our gems are ethically sourced and almost exclusively natural, traced back to their origin through long-term relationships with certified suppliers. Every piece is handcrafted by a small team of artisans. See our sustainability and ethics here.

What to know about Vermeil jewelry
Our Vermeil jewelry is plated with a minimum of 3 microns of 24K gold over Sterling Silver, offering clients a more long-lasting shine. With proper care, your Vermeil pieces will stay in excellent condition for three or more years of regular wear. Small blemishes can be easily cleaned, and the materials are hypoallergenic, therefore an excellent choice for sensitive skin.
Items that have experienced wearing can often be replated for a small fee. Contact us for more information.
How to store Vermeil jewelry
Store your Vermeil jewelry in a completely dry place, away from direct sunlight. We recommend keeping it in an anti-tarnish pouch or case to protect it when you’re not wearing it.
How to clean Vermeil jewelry
Use a soft cloth or toothbrush to gently wipe your pieces clean, but avoid using any polish. Polish can be too abrasive and may wear away the gold plating.

What to know about Sterling Silver jewelry
We use 925 Sterling Silver, a high-quality material made of 92.5% pure silver, and alloy for added durability. As a non-plated material, it will not experience wearing.
Tarnishing is a natural process for Sterling Silver, often caused by contact with air, water, and cosmetics. It can be worn in water (except in places containing natural minerals such as sulfur or chemicals such as chlorine) provided that it is thoroughly dried immediately afterwards.
If care instructions are followed it will be kept in its best condition.
How to store Sterling Silver jewelry
Sterling silver jewelry can oxidise and tarnish if not stored properly. We recommend keeping your jewelry away from direct sunlight which warms the air and can accelerate the chemical process of tarnishing. Most importantly it must be kept dry during storage. Humidity is a tarnish-accelerant.
How to clean Sterling Silver jewelry
The best way to keep your Sterling Silver jewelry in as-new condition is by wearing it often. If tarnishing does occur, simply clean your pieces with a small amount of silver polish and a soft polishing cloth.
