The City of Nine Seals collection references multiple modes of closing, protecting and authenticating. Cleopatra’s Bling have used these features in their designs for many years, from the cylinder seals of Mesopotamia, to metalworker’s hallmarks.
The Gorgoneion Seal Hoops are a take on vintage French hallmarks with their characteristic deep engraving, as well as a celebration of the gorgoneion which has appeared since our earliest collections in 2016.

Sustainability
We exclusively use recycled Sterling Silver, and the vast majority of our gold is recycled. Our gems are ethically sourced and almost exclusively natural, traced back to their origin through long-term relationships with certified suppliers. Every piece is handcrafted by a small team of artisans. See our sustainability and ethics here.

Your jewels arrive in our fully recycled, biodegradable packaging: a recycled box and a cotton drawstring bag. Every order is presented gift-ready, with packaging chosen to protect the jewelry inside and reduce waste.

What to know about Vermeil jewelry
Our Vermeil jewelry is plated with a minimum of 3 microns of 24K gold over Sterling Silver, offering clients a more long-lasting shine. With proper care, your Vermeil pieces will stay in excellent condition for three or more years of regular wear. Small blemishes can be easily cleaned, and the materials are hypoallergenic, therefore an excellent choice for sensitive skin.
Items that have experienced wearing can often be replated for a small fee. Contact us for more information.
How to store Vermeil jewelry
Store your Vermeil jewelry in a completely dry place, away from direct sunlight. We recommend keeping it in an anti-tarnish pouch or case to protect it when you're not wearing it.
How to clean Vermeil jewelry
Use a soft cloth or toothbrush to gently wipe your pieces clean, but avoid using any polish. Polish can be too abrasive and may wear away the gold plating.
