The Ancient Greeks believed that the sister of Alexander the Great, Thessalonike, was turned into a mermaid upon her death in 295 BCE. She lived in the waters of the crystal clear Aegean Sea, and would approach sailors who passed by with a question, “Is King Alexander alive?” The sailors must answer “He lives and reigns and conquers the world,” in order to be granted safe passage. The Aegean Pendant is a tribute to the warm waters of the Mediterranean where Thessalonike dwelled, and to the connections of familial love everywhere. Made to order in amethyst and solid gold. Pictured in 14k yellow gold.

The Relic Collection pieces are one off, hand etched pendants. Each stone is individually engraved by hand by artisans which means that every piece is truly one of a kind. These unique relics are then hand chosen and individually cast into 18K solid gold. If you wish to see alternative relic stones we have available for custom made designs, please contact us. Your unique piece of jewellery by Cleopatra's Bling has been handmade using traditional jewellery techniques and exceptional materials.

As we hand craft each piece, slight variations are to be expected and are what make our designs one-of-a-kind.

Please be gentle with your treasures and do not apply lotions and perfume while wearing your gold plated pieces. Please avoid water when wearing gold plated jewellery.

Gold has a tendency to scratch, so extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance.

Sterling silver that is worn regularly requires less care, so we encourage you to wear your silver treasures daily.

Cleopatra’s Bling accepts the return of unworn and unused items in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of order receipt, for store credit. Please contact a member of our team to begin the returns process.

This policy strictly excludes items to which a discount code has been applied, sale items, and items made-to-order or customised in any way, including all solid gold items.

Online purchases can only be returned for exchange via post, to the Cleopatra’s Bling Head Office.
